Festivals/Markets

From early summer through to Christmas, there are festivals and street events. The beginning is marked by the largest folk festival in Kraichgau, the Sinsheim Foal Market , one week prior to Pentecost. The Sinsheim City Festival draws visitors from the entire region on the third weekend in July. In October, the Sinsheim Autumn Festival is held and, around Christmas time, the Sinsheim Christmas Market. The entire summer long, the twelve city districts celebrate their traditional village fests and the parish fair festivals in autumn.
